The Worst Cricket Board Ever: Fans Lash Out At CSA On Twitter As AB de Villiers Decides To Stick To His International Retirement.

Fans on Twitter were heartbroken when the news of AB de Villiers sticking to his international retirement broke the internet. Notably, Cricket South Africa (CSA), on Tuesday, confirmed that AB de Villiers won’t be making an international comeback and will continue with his retirement.

de Villiers had hung his boots in 2018 from international cricket after citing workload reasons. Ever since then, he has been playing across the Globe in various franchise T20 cricket tournaments. A ray of hope was enlightened this year when South African head coach, Mark Boucher said that they will be speaking to de Villiers about making an international comeback.

AB de Villiers was recently seen plying his trade for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2021 and he was once again the reason behind the franchise’s success when the tournament came to a hold. RCB had won 5 out of the 7 games that it had played and was third in the points table as the tournament was suspended indefinitely. He played all 7 games and scored 207 runs at an average of 51.75. He also smashed a couple of half-centuries in IPL 2021.
