KXIP snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as the defeated SRH by 12 runs in the IPL 2020 clash on Saturday. By the virtue of the victory KXIP registered their fourth consecutive win the tournament to stay alive in the playoffs race. SRH started the chase well but lost plot in their way to a lowly chase.

Asked to bat, KXIP off to a decent start with KL Rahul and Mandeep Singh stitching a 37-run stand. The absence of Mayank Agarwal, however, was clearly stinging the Punjab outfit. Chris Gayle later chipped in with 20 runs off as many deliveries while Nicholas Pooran remained unbeaten on 32 runs off 28 balls to take KXIP to 126/7.

SRH bowlers displayed disciplined bowling performance to restrict the in-form KXIP franchise to a lowly total.  Fast bowler Sandeep Sharma and Jason Holder picked up two wickets each while premier Afghanistan spinner also chipped in with as many wickets.
