After impressive ODI and T20I series wins over New Zealand, high-flying Team India will be looking to extend their dominance in international cricket when they take on Sri Lanka in a full-fledged series at home which will consist of three Tests, three One-Day Internationals and as many T20I internationals. Prior to the first Test at the Eden Gardens, the visitors will lock against Board President’s XI in a two-day warm up game starting November .

Sanju Samson to lead Board President’s XI:

Kerala batsman Sanju Samson has been given the responsibility to lead the home side after Naman Ojha was ruled out of the fixture with an injury. The 12-member squad is coached by former India spinner Narendra Hirwani.

Anmolpreet Singh replaces injured Ojha:

Highly-rated Punjab youngster Anmolpreet Singh has been drafted in the team as Ojha’s replacement.  The 19-year old has been the standout performer for Punjab this season. The right-handed batsman is now the third-highest run-scorer in Ranji this season after G Vihari (573) and Prashant Chopra (502) with 430 runs in only three innings
