The Bangladesh Tigers is expected to include two rookie pace bowlers in their 15-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against the Windies.

Yeasin Arafat and Abu Jayed are the frontrunners to get included in the squad. The series will also mark the return of all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan to Tests.

He missed the last two-match home series against the Lankans owing to an injury. He didn’t take part in the previous Test assignment against the Proteas as well.

Shakib was granted a short break from Tests way back in September 2017. Mahmudullah led the Bangladesh side against the Lankans in the absence of Shakib.

The likely inclusion of Yeasin is the biggest surprise inclusion in the squad. He has made giant strides in the game. The pacer has also been tipped as a future member of the Bangladesh team on a consistent basis. Yeasin who hasn’t made his international debut yet.

However, he impressed the selectors with an eight-wicket haul. It was during a domestic One day match back in March.
