Unparalleled Demand for ICC 2019 World Cup Tickets

With only one year left before the ICC World Cup in England and Wales, excitement is reaching the new heights amongst the worldwide fans.

In fact, the response received for the 2019 ICC World Cup tickets is unparallel.

Meanwhile, over one million tickets have been applied for, for the cricket fraternity ballot. Thus, 42 out of the 48 World Cup matches will be voted. Pre-bookings for the One Day International carnival public ballot will open on July 17, 2018.

However, the official public ballot will open on 1st August 2018. Furthermore, the remaining tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis later in the year.

High demand for the World Cup matches.

As it was expected, the encounter between India and Pakistan at Old Trafford had received maximum support.

In fact, the response is so great that the Wembley Stadium can be filled twice by the fans engaged. Moreover, the final of the ODI showpiece at Lord’s which will be played on July 14 received the second most popular response.

Cricket World Cup 2019 managing director, Steve Elworthy is delighted by the response received for the coveted tournament.

Steve said as quoted by ICC Media Release, “The response has been fantastic, not only domestically in England and Wales, but from fans around the world, which gives us enormous satisfaction as we work towards making this a truly global celebration of cricket”.

The former England fast bowler added, “We expected a high demand for tickets, so. We look forward to seeing the excitement continue when the Public Ballot opens later this summer.”

Meanwhile, tickets for children will be available for 6 Pounds. Furthermore, a family of four will be able to go for selected group games for as little as 44 Pounds.

For those people who will win their ballot tickets and are unfortunately not able to attend the match, will be able to resell their tickets on the ICC platform.
