Watch: Michael Vaughan Breaks Down In Tears While Paying Tribute To Late Shane Warne

Former England captain Michael Vaughan broke down in tears while paying tribute to the greatest leg-spinner of all-time, Shane Warne, who recently passed away due to a heart attack in Thailand, at the age of just 52.

On Friday, March 4, the cricket fraternity was left stunned after Fox Sports broke out the news of the sudden demise of the Australian great Shane Warne.

According to a brief statement released by Warne’s management, the spin wizard was found unresponsive in his villa in Koh Samui, Thailand.

“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” a statement read.

“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

Speaking on Cricbuzz, Vaughan recalled spending last Christmas with the legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne and said that he cherish spending that time with Warne. Also, Vaughan broke down in tears while talking about the good treatment he had received from the former Australian cricketer.

“The way he treated me ….. This is hard because he became a real rock for me over the last few months and he took me in on Christmas day with him and his family,” Vaughan said.

“I cherish that because it was last Christmas that Shane has had but I was sit to the left while he had his lasagna in bread bowls with a load of butter he ploughed the butter it was too red rotten rolls. And he just eat it like a sandwich it was Christmas day lunch while we had beef his gorgeous family.”

“Warne was always the same you never ever could hide the way the Shane Warne was just himself and I will kind of tell you that he’s is a great lesson to us all, the no.1 we got to enjoy our life, be you, that’s the message Shane would say, just be you, he’s gone 52 he’s far too young for it to leave,” he added.
