Mohammed Siraj has helped Royal Challengers Bangalore get off to a brilliant start against Rajasthan Royals as he knocked over the dangerous Jos Buttler for an 8-ball 8 in the third over of the innings.
It all happened on the third ball of Mohammed Siraj’s second over when Jos Buttler moved to the leg-side and exposed his stumps in order to heave the pacer over extra-cover.
But Mohammed Siraj was more than up to the task. The right-hander bowled a straight ball, which Jos Buttler missed and, as a result, it proceeded to knock over his leg stump.
The dismissal brought an end to a brilliant dual between Mohammed Siraj and Jos Buttler during the course of the latters’ first two overs.
Buttler took Siraj for a couple of boundaries in the first over of the innings but the right-handed pacer had his moments; none better than the scrambled seam delivery in which he cut the English swashbuckler into half.
At the time of writing, Rajasthan Royals were dealt with another blow as Manan Vohra once again flattered to deceive by holing out at long-on after mistiming an attempted lofted drive.
