Ekana Stadium was to host the second round of the tournament but couldn’t host it due to a state function in the city.

Lack of hotels the reason –

The lack of hotels is the reason behind the city not hosting the tournament.

Reports had suggested that Nagpur might host the tournament but Delhi has been awarded the hosting of the second round.

The prime reason for the tournament not shifted to Nagpur could be that the state will be hosting Irani Cup.

Since Vidarbha won the Ranji Trophy 2017/18, they will play Irani Cup at their home ground.

The teams who will qualify for the second of the List A tournament are yet to be decided.
