Virat Kohli, the current Indian captain, is one of the fittest cricketers going around in world cricket in the current era.

And, he once again proved it to the hilt when he aced the hops push-up challenge, posed to him by his fellow teammate and swashbuckling all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

Kohli not only aced the challenge, but he also added a twist to it by clapping while performing the exercise.

Kohli’s video has gone viral on social media. Around 7 million Instagram users have liked the video while over 2300 of his followers have commented on the same.

Among those 2300 followers who commented on the video, one of them was Hardik Pandya, who wrote-

Well done bruh I think it will be some challenge to beat this @virat.kohli.” Pandya commented.

Replying to Pandya’s comment, Virat Kohli said that he is confident of him doing better than him.

Both Virat and Hardik Pandya are two of the fittest cricketers going around in world cricket today. Pandya, despite his back issues, has always aced the mandatory yo-yo test.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has transformed himself into one of the fittest athletes in the game and is someone who leads by example and certainly expects the same standards from his teammates.

Unlike other Indian cricketers, the duo hasn’t yet hit the ground running as far as kickstarting their training is concerned. While Virat hasn’t played a competitive game since India’s tour of New Zealand, Hardik Pandya has been away from the game since last September, post which he underwent back surgery.

Hardik was supposed to make his international comeback with the three-match ODI series against South Africa back in March but that was delayed due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
