Virat Kohli Included In Delhi's Probable Squad For The Vijay Hazare Trophy

Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has included India’s skipper Virat Kohli in the 50-member probables list for Delhi’s squad for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ishant Sharma have also found a place in the team.

Delhi, who finished as the runners-up in the last season will look to go all the way this time around. As a result, they have named some heavyweights in their probable squad. The association has asked all the players named in the list to report to the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Tuesday at 8 am.

Meanwhile, it is highly unlikely that India stars like Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, who represents in all formats will feature for Delhi. The Men in Blues will be playing against South Africa during that time. Meanwhile, Dhawan is likely to play in the latter stages after the three-match T20I series gets over. Ishant Sharma is also unlikely to play a game as he will join the Test side for the first match which begins on October 2.

DDCA took to Twitter to reveal the squad for all their fans and supporters. They also asked the players to report to coach KP Bhaskar on September 3. The tournament will run from September 24 to October 10.

“Some big names in the list as senior selection committee name probables for Vijay Hazare Trophy. All available players are requested to report 8 am tomorrow to Head Coach KP Bhaskar at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground. @BCCI @BCCIdomestic,” DDCA tweeted.
