Former South Africa cricketer, Ab de Villiers feels Virat Kohli is managing his team well and is getting better day by day which might be the scariest part for the opposition. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli had won 24out of the 42 Tests, and 39 out of 52 ODIs he has captained so far. Moreover, skipper Kohli has a good winning record and is gathering more experience day by day.

Moreover, Ab de Villiers is an excellent companion of Virat Kohli. Both of them plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Much to the liking of sports fanatics, they both are arguably the greatest batsmen of past a decade. However, ABD said their combination is like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi on the pitch.

“There is definitely some chemistry about us batting together. We have a similar mindset about the game which we enjoy. It’s nice to bat with someone who understands the way you play and also the mutual understanding. He likes Ronaldo so let him be that, and I’ll be Messi, will take that gladly,” Ab de Villiers said.

Furthermore, Ab de Villiers praised the Indian captain by saying Virat Kohli has learned a lot from his mistakes in the past few years. Affectionately called Mr. 360 also feels Virat needs to improvise on certain things as a batsman and if he can manage to do that it would be a scarier sight for any of the oppositions.

“He is a really good captain and getting better. That is the scary part. As a batsman he has got areas where he can improve and that is also scary, so all in all, he is in a great place in his career,” Ab de Villiers concluded.

However, the ever entertaining, Ab de Villiers had announced his retirement from international cricket in May this year. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is still leading his team and will lead the ODI side for the series against the Windies, which begins on Sunday (October 21st).
