Coming to the match report so far, initially, it was Virat Kohli, who won the toss, elected to bat first. Batting on a beautiful wicket, Rohit Sharma started cautiously alongside Mayank Agarwal and later, took the charge by thrashing Proteas’ bowlers all over the park.

Following  Rohit Sharma show on Day 1 of the Test match, it was Mayank Agarwal, who completely stole the limelight on Day 2. Though Rohit Sharma continued his form to smash 176 to his name, it was Mayank’s double which was the major highlight of the second day. It was beautifully helped by Ashwin’s 2wickets in the evening.
