Virat Kohli, Kevin Pietersen Lead Wishes On Holi 2020

People all over India as well as outside India are busy celebrating Holi today. The festival of colours is one of the most popular festival of the country. People of all age group come together to celebrate the special festival by applying colour to each other.

People also gorge on delicacies like gujiya, thandai and malpua on the special occasion. And as everyone was busy celebrating Holi, a number of cricketers decided to extend their wishes to their fans and followers. India skipper Virat Kohli led the wishes.

The likes of Kevin Pietersen, Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan and several other big names took to Twitter to wish their fans and others on social media.

“Wish to see the whole country colourful and happy like holi thru out the year. Happy Holi everyone #Holi,” wrote Irfan Pathan.

“Heartfelt greetings to everyone on the occasion of Holi! May god bless you with wisdom, power, bliss and happiness! Have a safe & a colourful one! #Holi #Holi2020,” wrote Ishant Sharma.

“Happy Holi, may the colours spread joy and happiness! #Holi,” wrote Pragyan Ojha.

“Happy #Holi! #HappyHoli2020 #HoliFestival,” wrote RP Singh.

Meanwhile, Team India will be soon seen in action later this week when they take on South Africa in the first of the three-match ODI series. The series gets underway on March 12 in Dharamsala before Lucknow and Kolkata host the next two games on March 15 and 18 respectively.

India will be desperate to get back to winning ways after suffering crushing defeats in ODIs and Tests at the hands of New Zealand. The Virat Kohli-led side suffered whitewashes in both the series.
