Turning the clock back to 2016, the right-handed batsman from Delhi, who was playing the world cup for India, has turned every cricketing fanatic as his fan with his stunning knock. Any guesses? Yeah, you are right, it was Virat Kohli. The current Indian skipper recollects the memory and shared an image from it by tagging MS Dhoni in it.

Virat Kohli shared a throwback picture of India’s encounter with Australia during the 2016 T20 World Cup where he had none other than Dhoni at the other end of the pitch. Kohli was named the Man of the Match for his 51-ball 82 as India chased down the target of 161 runs in the final over of the match at Mohali.

Posting the picture, Virat Kohli quoted that it was one of the few games, which he can never forget. Further, he went on to explain how MS Dhoni and he worked hard by running between the wickets to yield those important runs for the team.

“A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test,” he captioned the image where he can be seen celebrating the win on his knees while Dhoni is walking towards him.

The bond that Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his predecessor MS Dhoni share isn’t hidden from any cricket fan across the country. The two have often been spotted engaged in tactical discussions on the field and sometimes planning run-chases together on the 22-yard strip.
