The Bollywood Diva Priyanka Chopra revealed her favourite players of the Indian National Cricket Team. She quoted that the skipper Virat Kohli and the vice-captain of the limited-overs team Rohit Sharma as her favourite Indian cricketers not only as the player but also personally.

Virat Kohli is the biggest name in modern-day cricket. The current Indian skipper is one of the best batsmen to have ever played the game. In the last few years, he has set standards for everyone else and further raised them with almost every innings.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has also enjoyed a great time in the middle with the bat thus bagging huge number of fans across the world. With his incredible strokeplay, he not only attract the current generation but also set an example for the future generation as well.

The Indian captain and the vice-captain are ranked just behind each other in the official ICC ODI Men’s Batting Rankings. The duo also makes batting look pretty easy whenever they stitch runs for the Indian team across the formats.

Talking to Star Sports – the official broadcaster of the ongoing 1st Test between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam, Priyanka revealed that both Kohli and Rohit are her favourite cricketers as she personally knows both the batsmen.

Priyanka also narrated an incident when her in-laws were cheering for England during the ICC World Cup 2019 as Eoin Morgan & Co. locked horns against the Men in Blue. On the other hand, Priyanka was cheering for Kohli & Co. with her mother. India lost the match by 31 runs as the hosts ended the visitors’ unbeaten run in the tournament.
