With nothing much to do nowadays because of the coronavirus pandemic, a number of cricketers have been keeping themselves busy with different sort of activities. Few cricketers have also used the opportunity to interact with each other and the fans through social media.

On Thursday, India skipper Virat Kohli and former England batsman Kevin Pietersen decided to go live on Instagram. Previously, Pietersen had interacted with Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal as well as Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad. On Wednesday, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah had done a live session too.

Talking about Virat Kohli’s live session, he spoke about a range of topics with his former IPL teammate. The two talked about IPL, international cricket, Royal Challengers Bangalore and other topics. During the interaction, Virat Kohli also revealed the names of two players he enjoys batting with.

The India batting mainstay revealed that he enjoys batting with MS Dhoni and AB de Villiers the most. The 31-year old said that he likes batting with those who run well and respond well to his calling.

“Two people I have enjoyed most batting with, well I like to bat with people who run well and understand my calling. So with MS Dhoni for India and with AB de Villiers otherwise. With AB the partnership just flows. We don’t even talk cricket,” said Virat Kohli.

Well, statistically Virat Kohli-MS Dhoni partnership does not rank too high but the current India captain has been seen having a great rapport with his predecessor while batting. Statistically, his most prolific partner is Rohit Sharma as both have so far added 4,878 runs together.

With AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli forms a very formidable pair in the IPL. The India and South Africa stars have shared 200-plus partnerships twice in the IPL which speaks volume of the understanding between them.
