Watch: After Gautam Gambhir's Jibe, Shoaib Akhtar's Video Surfaces Where He Calls Shahid Afridi Immature

Former India opener Gautam Gambhir has set internet abuzz by calling Shahid Afridi immature after the latter’s remark over Kashmir. For quite some time now, Afridi has publicly spoken about Kashmir and it is safe to say that just like most of his countrymen, he too has been spreading fake news and propaganda.

The former Pakistan skipper, on Wednesday, said that he will soon visit the Line of Control (LoC) to “express solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren” following India’s decision to end the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier this month, India abolished Article 370 which bifurcated the state into two union territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced that a 30-minute event will take place every week in his country to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Afridi also said that he would be at Mazar-e-Quaid (the tomb of Pakistan founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah) in Karachi at 12 noon on Friday.

“Let’s respond to PM call for Kashmir Hour as a nation. I will be at Mazar e Quaid at 12pm on Friday. Join me to express solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren. On 6 Sep I will visit home of a Shaheed. I will soon be visiting LOC (sic),” Shahid Afridi had tweeted.

Afridi had earlier called for UN intervention as well as that of the US after the Indian government abrogated the Article. Within hours of Afridi’s tweet, Gambhir took to Twitter to mock him. The legendary Indian batsman called Afridi immature for his remark and went on to say that he is ordering online Kindergarten classes for the allrounder.

Not very surprisingly, the cricket fans from Pakistan were miffed with Gambhir’s remark. Seeing their hero being called an immature didn’t go down well with the fans and they slammed Gambhir on Twitter. Well, it looks like Gambhir is not the only man who thinks Afridi is immature.

An old video has now re-surfaced on social media where legendary pacer Shoaib Akhtar could also be seen calling Afridi immature. Akhtar hilariously said that Afridi not plays immaturely but also speaks immaturely.
