Virat Kohli’s obsession with fitness is well known. The India skipper is arguably the fittest cricketer in the world at the moment. His fitness transformation is nothing absolutely stunning.

While he was a good athlete right from the start of his career in international cricket, he took his fitness seriously only after an ordinary IPL in 2012.  The stories on how he attained supreme fitness are well documented. He changed his training regime and eating habits completely, realising the need to transform his body to survive the rigours of playing all three formats.

The hard work has paid off well as he is not only one of the fittest cricketers in the world but is also arguably the best batsman across formats. No player has delivered more consistently than Virat Kohli in all the three formats in the last few years. Well, Virat Kohli is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down and at the same time, his obsession with fitness is also reaching newer heights.

And a recent video posted by his wife Anushka Sharma pretty much proves that. The Bollywood actress, on Wednesday, posted a clip in her Instagram story, showing how Virat Kohli was measuring his food on a weighing machine. It was a dish made up of rice and the India superstar made sure that it does not exceed the 100gm mark in his bowl. The couple can also be heard giggling in the video, as the batting star measured the food.

The dish might be mushroom biriyani that Virat Kohli had offered his India teammate Shreyas Iyer. Earlier in the day, he took to Instagram and revealed that his Iyer had brought him some ‘neer dosas’ and thanked the latter’s mother for sending them the ‘delicious’ meal.

“A kind neighbour who lives 500 m away from us brought us some home made neer dosas and made us smile. A big Thank you to your mom amigo we haven’t had such delicious dosas for a longgg time. Hope you enjoyed the mushroom biriyani we sent back. ?? Good man @shreyas41 . P.S- these are the new picture norms with social distancing,” he wrote.
