Watch: Axar Patel's Furious Reaction After Being Hit By Ishan Kishan's Throw In 2nd ODI vs Zimbabwe

A funny incident took place between the India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan and all-rounder Axar Patel during the second ODI of the three-match ODI series between India and Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday, August 20.

The incident took place in the 28th over of the innings when Deepak Hooda was bowling. On the second ball of the over, Zimbabwe batter Ryan Burl played a shot towards the deep square leg area and rushed for two runs.

Indian fielder Kishan grabbed the ball and fired a throw towards the stumps, but the ball ended up hitting Axar Patel, who was in the short cover area in a squatting position with both his hands covering his head. After the blow, Axar was visibly annoyed.

Although the blow was not very serious, the all-rounder turned back and gave a fiery look to Ishan, who immediately put his hand up for an apology.

Earlier, India National Cricket Team won the toss, opted to bowl first in the match and they made just one change to the playing XI as Shardul Thakur replaced last game’s Player of the Match award winner, Deepak Chahar.

Zimbabwe National Cricket Team, on the other hand, made two notable changes as Tanaka Chivanga and Takudzwanashe Kaitano were included in the playing XI.

Indian bowlers once again performed exceptionally well and managed to reduce Zimbabwe to 31/4. The next 6 wickets fell in no time and Zimbabwe were rolled over for 161. Sean Williams (42) and Ryan Burl (39*) were the top performers for Zimbabwe with the bat and Shardul Thakur was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged a three-wicket haul.
