Gambhir, on Thursday, called out Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for an open debate. Addressing a rally in Delhi’s Shastri Park, Gautam Gambhir invited Arvind Kejriwal for a debate on an open platform.

“Over the last 2-3 day, talks are high that I am scared of debate. When I did not get scared of Pakistan, how can I get scared of debate. Some people have been talking that I got scared of debate. So now, through the medium of this platform, I challenge the chief of Aam Aadmi Party that you took 4.5 years and I have been active in politics for 4.5 days. He must give me half of 4.5 years in this politics, then the date and place will be decided by him,” Gambhir said.

“He will be deciding the date and the place. The debate will happen and it will happen in a public meeting, neither in a room nor on social media. I challenge AAP chief to accept the challenge in a public rally and not on any social media or interview,” he added.
