Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan was in Melbourne on Sunday for Adelaide Strikers’ clash against Melbourne Renegades in the ongoing Big Bash League. He was seen bowling with spin legend Shane Warne before the two spoke about their crafts during lunch on day four of the second Test between Australia and New Zealand.

And during the visit, Rashid Khan also met his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate David Warner and one can say that the meeting started on a hilarious note. Rashid Khan was signing autographs for the kids at the MCG when David Warner was walking back to the dressing room. And while Rashid Khan was busy with the autographs, David Warner saw him and did not waste any time in approaching him.

David Warner playfully tried to hit Rashid Khan with the bat before the latter turned back and saw his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate.

Here is a clip of that meeting between David Warner and Rashid Khan:

Meanwhile, Australia beat New Zealand by 247 runs in the second Test at the MCG to wrap up the three-match series with a match to go. Chasing an improbable 488, New Zealand once again came up with a poor batting display. Despite Tom Blundell scoring a fighting ton, New Zealand were all out for just 240 with spinner Nathan Lyon picking up four wickets.

With this win, Australia’s unbeaten run against their trans-Tasman neighbours has now stretched to 25 years. After being rocked by three wickets in nine deliveries from James Pattinson in the morning, New Zealand managed to stop the rot for a while as they reached tea at 131 for 4. Nathan Lyon then gave Australia the crucial breakthrough by dismissing BJ Watling. The remaining batsmen could not do much either as New Zealand were all out for 240.
