The thrilling game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on Sunday ended on a bitter note with Khaleel Ahmed and Rahul Tewatia getting involved in a heated argument.

Soon after Riyan Parag hit Khaleel for a six on the fifth delivery of the 20th over to seal the game for his side, Rahul Tewatia was seen talking to the pacer in an animated manner. Things got so heated that SRH skipper David Warner had to intervene to bring the matter under control.

As far as the game is concerned, Royals pulled off a heist against SRH as they won the game by five wickets. Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag starred with the bat as they helped the Royals recover from 78 for 5 in the 12th over to chase down 159 with a ball to spare.

It looked all over for Royals when Rashid Khan dismissed Sanju Samson and Robin Uthappa in quick succession to leave them reeling at 78 for 5 before Rahul Tewatia and Parag joined hands and took the side over the line. Tewatia remained unbeaten on 45 while Parag remained unbeaten on 42.

The incident that started the altercation:

As of now, there are no details on what was being said between Rahul Tewatia and Khaleel after the clash ended. But a new video has surfaced which shows how the altercation started. It all started after the fourth delivery of the final over when Rahul Tewatia hit Khaleel’s delivery towards long-on for a single.

As the left-handed batsman completed his single, Khaleel was seen saying something to him. The Royals star did not like the comment at all and turned back to say something in reply. Tewatia pointed his finger at the SRH bowler before the latter patted at his shoulder and walked back to his bowling mark.

And after Parag hit the match-winning six, Warner was seen angry too. The SRH captain was spotted complaining something to the umpire before walking up to Tewatia for an animated discussion.
