Watch: Jaydev Unadkat's Outrageous One-Handed Catch To Send Back Deepak Hooda

Jaydev Unadkat’s reaction said it all after he took an absolute stunner to send back Deepak Hooda in the ongoing game between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Unadkat, who was the joint most expensive player in the last auction, has not quite managed to deliver this season. However, he had a good day at the office on Saturday. The left-arm pacer conceded just 26 runs from his four overs while picking up two wickets.

The pick of the lot was definitely the catch he took off his own bowling to dismiss Hooda. Unadkat bowled a fuller-length delivery which Hooda failed to read. The right-handed batsman just could not pick the length and pace of the delivery and just managed to chip the ball straight in the air towards the bowler. However, it still looked like the ball would land safely as it was well above Unadkat’s head. Moreover, Unadkat was in his momentum and it looked like he would not even make a serious effort to catch the ball.

Meanwhile, the Royals bowlers came up with a fine effort to restrict the Sunrisers to a modest 160 for 8.  In-form Manish Pandey scored his second consecutive fifty but Sunrisers’ middle-order faltered once again. At one stage, the Sunrisers were well placed at 102 for 1 in 12 overs before David Warner departed. Warner’s dismissal allowed the Royals to turn the innings and they managed to do it, conceding just 58 runs in the last 8 overs while picking up 7 wickets.
