Cricket around the world has come to a standstill because of the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has been wreaking havoc all across the world and have already killed more than 20,000 people. The pandemic is spreading like a wild fire and people across the world have been advised to stay indoors to make sure that the chain of transmission breaks down.

Cricketers are also stuck inside their homes. But while the players must be desperately wait for the action to resume, they have also used the opportunity to spend some quality times with their family and pets. The cricket stars have been keeping their fans updated about what they are up while being at home.

Well, New Zealand superstar Kane Williamson is busy training his dog as a slip fielder during this period. A video that has been going viral on internet show Kane Williamson’s dog taking a stunning catch in the slip while training with the New Zealand skipper.

Meanwhile, all the major international and domestic fixtures are off as cricket boards around the globe have come forward to prioritise safety over the game.  Earlier this month, the BCCI called off the three-match ODI series against South Africa after initially deciding to hold the last two games behind closed doors.

The BCCI have also suspended the IPL till April 15 and reports suggest that there is a big chance, the tournament might get cancelled altogether this year. The likes of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and other cricket countries have also called off their international and domestic fixtures.

New Zealand called off their three-match ODI series in Australia as well as the T20I series at home against the same opponents.
