Watch: KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik send a special message to Hardik Pandya from Sri Lanka

Indian internationals KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik delivered a special message for all-rounder Hardik Pandya who is rested for the Nidahas Trophy.

The two stalwarts from South Zone, in a recent interview conducted by the Board’s social media handle, claimed they do not miss the Baroda all-rounder presence in the team, initially.

Karnataka star, KL Rahul, seemed relieved that Hardik Pandya would not surround him in the coming three months. KL tagged Hardik as a ‘diva’ who is narcissistic.

“We don’t miss you at all. The next three months are going to the most peaceful time. It’s so peaceful. He is like a diva when we go out you know. He wants all the attention,” quoted KL Rahul when asked if the team missed Hardik’s presence in the team.

Lokesh Rahul was only seconded by Tamil Nadu stalwart Dinesh Karthik who revealed that atmosphere in the dressing room is far more relaxed.

“The atmosphere is far more relaxed. We are definitely not missing him. Everything is good on the trip,” said Dinesh Karthik, sitting alongside KL.

“Hey, Everybody look at me, everybody listen to me talking. I’m wearing this watch, this what I bought today,” said KL Rahul while impersonating Hardik Pandya. “We’re like ‘we have no interest in you, we don’t want to listen to you talking‘.” added KL.

However, in conclusion, KL conceded that Hardik does entertain and the team miss his presence. “But yea he keeps it entertaining, we miss you,” concluded Rahul.
