Watch: Matthew Wade's Throw Lands On Rohit Sharma Helmet

Any India-Australia game is full of tension and rarely do we see players sharing a lighter moment on the field. In fact, the recent fixtures have become even more heated after the fiercely-fought Test series earlier this year and the way things panned out in the first three games of the ongoing ODI series, one can say that the players have still not moved on.

Well, the recently-concluded fourth One-Day International at Bangalore’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium witnessed a lighter moment although the incident could have led to nasty scenes. The incident occurred in the 16th over when Rohit Sharma hit Travis Head’s delivery to long-on and scampered for a single. The fielder threw the ball to wicketkeeper Matthew Wade and when the latter lobbed the ball towards bowler, it ended up on Rohit Sharma’s head. However, the India star avoided any injury since he was wearing the helmet. Wade raised his hand in apology soon and Rohit let go the matter with a smile.
