India cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 37 on Saturday (July 7).
The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman is currently a part of the Indian team playing in England. And he celebrated his birthday with friends and family after the second T20I against the hosts. The World Cup-winning skipper cut a cake with wife Sakshi, daughter Ziva and many teammates present.
Here’s the video of MS Dhoni cutting the cake:

Meanwhile, Dhoni would have liked a better result from the second T2oI against England. India had the chance to wrap up the series and give Dhoni a perfect birthday gift. However, the Men in Blue lost the game by 5 wickets.
Asked to bat first, India could only score 148 for 5. India were off to a poor star and were reeling at 22 for 3. Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina then stopped the rot by adding 57 runs for the third wicket. Raina scored 27 before being dismissed. Kohli top-scored for the visitors, scoring 47.
Dhoni, on the other hand, scored an unbeaten 32 off 24 balls, helping India post a challenging total. During the game, Dhoni also became the third Indian to play 500 international games.
In reply, England chased down the total with 2 balls to spare. The hosts were reeling at 44 for 3 and looked shaky but Alex Hales’ unbeaten 58 took them home.
India will be looking to win the series on Sunday in Bristol.
