The veteran India captain, MS Dhoni has replied to Rishabh Pant’s warning ahead of the IPL 2019. As Pant, who will play for Delhi Capitals (DC) had said he is ready to show his game to Dhoni; MS responded, saying, ‘he will there waiting for him behind the wickets’. Meanwhile, the twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League will begin on March 23rd. Though initially there were reports of India not hosting the IPL 2019 due to general elections. Later, the BCCI head officials had confirmed the venue would remain the same despite Lok Sabha elections dates.

‘Game dikha, name bana’ – MS Dhoni to Pant

Earlier, Rishabh Pant, on his official twitter handle had shared a video of him challenging MS Dhoni. He had said, ‘Had MS not been around, he is not sure whether he would be a wicketkeeper today or not’. Further, he said, ‘I am ready for the challenge, as my game is going to unsettle Mr cool on the pitch’.

Though the official twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings had replied on the same; MS Dhoni, the man concerned in the picture has responded on the same too. Here is what the CSK’s official twitter handle had posted,

MS, meanwhile, quoted, ‘when he had begun, he had the same attitude’. Moreover, he told Pant,

‘aaja Rishabh, wicket ke peeche toh mein hi rahunga’. 

As translated, it reads,

‘Come Rishabh, I will be there behind the wickets’.

Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni are ready to showcase what they’ve got during the IPL 2019. As Pant will want to guide Delhi to their maiden IPL title, Dhoni, ‘the thala’, will be defending the trophy in the forthcoming season. Right now, both the wicketkeeper-batsmen are playing the Australia limited-overs series; India’s last international assignment in their lead up to the 2019 World Cup.
