There is no denying the fact that MS Dhoni is completely a different character when he comes out of the field. On the field, there are very few players who manage to keep their emotions under check as well as MS Dhoni. No matter what the situation is, the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman is rarely seen expressing himself on the field.

Whether the team loses a game or wins the World Cup, Dhoni just knows how to conduct himself.

But when he comes off it, he is a different person altogether. He loves to pull pranks on his teammates as well as interacts with his fans. Well, recently another facet of Dhoni’s personality was witnessed. A video is going viral over the internet showing the World Cup-winning skipper interacting with a child. Sitting calmly in the car, Dhoni talked with his little fan and shook his hand before the latter departed.

Here is a clip of that moment involving MS Dhoni and his young fan:

Meanwhile, Dhoni’s is having all kinds of troubles on the field due to his poor form. The veteran batsman is facing pressure due to his poor returns with the bat. Recently, there were also questions over his career after the selectors dropped him from the T20I squad for the series against Windies and Australia.

Later, chief selector MSK Prasad made it clear that Dhoni is still the number one choice as the wicket-keeper.

“Yes, definitely (Rishabh Pant selected as a batsman only) but if a need arises he will be the backup keeper,” Prasad had said after the squad was announced.

“It is no brainer who is our No 1 wicketkeeper. In search of second wicketkeeper, we have given opportunities to DK and right now we are giving an opportunity to Rishabh Pant. At an appropriate time, we will take a call as to who is the best among the two,” he added.

Dhoni is likely to be seen in action again when India plays the ODI series in Australia.

An avid cricket lover, I just love this game more than anything. Writing about cricket keeps me closer to the game.
