Pavel Florin took the cricket world by storm after the video of his unorthodox bowling became viral on internet. At a time when fans across the world love to see bowler who can bowl at a good spin or can turn the ball miles, the Romanian cult hero caught everyone’s attention despite not being able to bowl at a good pace. The reason behind Pavel Florin becoming a worldwide sensation was his passion for the game.

And such was his popularity that Surrey Hills Cricket Club in Melbourne invited him to play in Australia in order to inspire others.  The 50-year-old bodyguard was invited by Melbourne-based Surrey Hills CC to take part in two exhibition matches in November. After initially having his visa rejected by the Australian Department of Home Affairs, he finally got the permission to play Down Under.

And Pavel Florin has been living up to the expectations, entertaining his fans with his batting, bowling as well as fielding. On his debut, he picked up a solitary wicket before announcing his arrival with a stellar performance in the very next game. He finished his second match in Australia with the stellar figures of 3/10, and also claimed three catches in the field.

And he recently pulled off an absolute outrageous piece of run out off his own bowling. After the batsman hit his ball hard towards him, Pavel Florin bent down in time to save the ball. He could not hold the ball but it turned out be a blessing disguise as the ball went on to hit the stumps and caught the batsman on non-striker’s end off-guard. The run out was followed by the customary wild celebration from Pavel Florin.

Here is a clip of that run-out posted by Pavel Florin himself on Twitter:
