Off late, the Big Bash League 2019/20 edition has become the destination for the entertainment in the game of cricket. More often than not, something or the other is grabbing the headlines regularly to seize the attention of the cricketing fanatics. After Rashid Khan caught the focus of the fans with his camel bat, now, his teammate, Peter Siddle pulls out a no-look run out to amaze the fans of Adelaide Strikers.

The incident happened in the 14th over of Thunder’s innings. While collecting the ball at the non-striker end, Siddle pulled a no-look run out to send Usman Khawaja back to the pavilion. Until the last minute, no one had expected that Peter Siddle would affect a run-out, even though Usman Khawaja was running casually.

Peter Siddle picked two wickets for 30 runs in 4 overs:

Just when things looked pretty normal in the middle, Siddle affected a casual no-look run out, which caught Usman Khawaja short of his crease. Instantly, the video went viral on social media, as the fans liked the unusual run-out in the middle.

Getting into the details of the game, it was Sydney Thunders, who won the toss, opted to bat first. Though they lost Alex Hales for a cheap score on the board, Usman Khawaja and Callum Ferguson stitched a 73-run partnership for the second wicket before Peter Siddle pulled out a stunning run out.

Though Khawaja walked back for a well-made 63, Callum Ferguson continued his fine form by stroking 74 runs off 46 balls. However, a good piece of death bowling by Peter Siddle helped Adelaide to restrict Sydney for 168 runs on the board. In reply, Adelaide got the worst possible start with Salt and Short walking back for cheap scores to their names.

The hiccups further continued with Alex Carey being dismissed for 36 runs on the board. However, Weatherald and Wells added 63 runs for the fourth wicket to bring Adelaide back into the game. But, the brilliant spell by Chris Morris and Arjun Nair helped Sydney to stage a comeback. Though Rashid Khan scared Sydney in the end, Morris held his nerve to give his side a 3-run victory.
