Watch: Shahid Afridi Reacts To Gautam Gambhir's Comment On Pulwama Attack

Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has played a dead bat to Gautam Gambhir’s fiery statement in the wake of the dastardly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

In one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s three decades of militancy, a suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in Pulwama district, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded.

The bus was on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Lethpora town, about 30 km from Srinagar when the attack took place. The entire nation is in a state of shock as well as furious following the gruesome attack. The whole of India is condemning the attack and paying tribute to the fallen brave souls. The cricketing fratnerity has also come forward to pay tribute to the martyrs. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and others have expressed their grief over the inhumane incident.

Gambhir, nonetheless, went ahead and said that India should not resort to peace talks with Pakistan anymore and the reasons are obvious.

“Yes, let’s talk with the separatists. Yes, let’s talk with Pakistan. But this time conversation can’t be on the table, it has to be in a battle ground. Enough is enough. 18 CRPF personnel killed in IED blast on Srinagar-Jammu highway ,” wrote Gautam Gambhir.

Well, Shahid Afridi, who does not share an amicable relationship with Gambhir, was recently asked about Gambhir’s comments, The veteran allrounder is currently featuring in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the Multan Sultans.

After the match against Islamabad United on Sunday, he was on his way to the team bus when one of the reporters asked Afridi about Gautam Gambhir’s comment.

In reply, Afridi did not speak much and just said:”Kya ho gya usk (What happened to him).” The Pakistan star then ignored the media before boarding the team bus.
