Watch: Shikhar Dhawan Prepares Ahead of the First T20I Against Australia

Shikhar Dhawan is one of the three players who has made their way back into the Indian team, as the selectors have announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia.

Along with the opening batsman from Delhi, Dinesh Karthik and veteran fast-bowler Ashish Nehra have also been recalled into the team.

Shikhar was in top form, he was the top run scorer in the Champions Trophy 2017, and had a decent run against Sri Lanka as well but he had to drop out from the recently concluded five-match ODI series, as he was with his ailing wife.

Shikhar will be looking to continue his brilliant run of form on Saturday (7th October) when he takes the field in Ranchi. Shikhar has been sweating it out in the nets and is seen practicing really hard to get back into touch.

Shikhar even shared a video of him practicing his strokes, while the Under-19 World Cup winning captain, Unmukt Chand helped him with throwdowns.

The first match of the T20 series will be played at JSCA stadium in Ranchi and the last is scheduled to be played in Hyderabad on 13th October.
