Watch: The Adorable Video Of MS Dhoni Sprinting With Imran Tahir and Shane Watsons Sons

MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings got back to winning ways with an impressive 22-run win over Kings XI Punjab on Saturday. On a tough Chepauk pitch, the reigning IPL champions came up with a clinical effort to inflict the second defeat of the season on Kings XI. Batting first, the Super Kings scored 160 for 3 in the allotted 20 overs.

Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson started well after MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first.  The two added 56 runs in 43 balls before Ravi Ashwin dismissed Watson. Du Plessis and Suresh Raina then took the score to 100. But just when it looked like the Super Kings would accelerate, R Ashwin dealt them a double blow by dismissing du Plessis and Suresh Raina on back-to-back deliveries in the 14th over to leave the Super Kings reeling at 101 for 3 from 100 for 1.

MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu then began the repair work and the run-rate dropped soon.  However, Dhoni and Rayudu soon shifted gears to score 44 runs from the remaining three overs and fire Super Kings to a challenging total.

In reply, Kings XI started in a disastrous way. They lost both Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal for just seven runs on the board.

KL Rahul and Sarafaraz Khan then added 110 runs for the third wicket to revive Kings XI’s chances. But with the run-rate mounting on the tough pitch, the Kings XI eventually ended up 22 runs short.

Following the game, MS Dhoni decided to show the adorable facet of his personality as he joined Imran Tahir and Shane Watson’s sons for a sprint. Both the boys were contemplating a sprint face-off before MS Dhoni joined in and had a good laugh with them.
