Watch: Virat Kohli And Shikhar Dhawan Doing Bhangra On Street Of Capetown As Onlookers Enjoy The Show

Looks like India batting stars Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan are yet to get over the festive and the wedding reception hangovers. Both of them recently reunited in the India skipper’s wedding reception in Mumbai and lighted up the dance floor with their moves.

The duo is currently in South Africa with the whole team for the upcoming series against the Proteas, but it had not stopped them from doing the Bhangra when the opportunity arrived.

Both the players have been witnessed doing the Bhangra on the cricket field on several occasions and rarely miss a chance to show off their moves. Well, they were seen shaking their legs once again when they were roaming around in Capetown and saw some street performers. Dhawan was the first to start the dance before being joined by Kohli as the onlookers enjoyed the show.

Meanwhile, the Test series will get underway from January 5 in Capetown. India is yet to win a Test series in the African country in six attempts, but expectations are sky-high from the Virat Kohli-led team which has registered a record nine consecutive series wins and is yet to lose a series under their skipper.

But while the current side is being widely tipped to do well in South Africa, Kohli is well aware of the challenges awaiting his team in South Africa but is confident of putting up a good show.

“We come to South Africa knowing that the wickets are going to be different from back home. Even the last time when we’ve played there was talk about we getting bounced out and we’re going to struggle against the short ball. But I think our batsmen stood up really nicely. If you remember, clearly on Day 1 of the Jo’burg Test we put up a great fight, we handled their bowlers pretty well and we made them work hard. We almost won that Test, it ended up being a draw. So, we are prepared as to what we’re going to get here and we’re not under any delusions as to what we’re going to be presented with, come fifth of January,” Kohli said on Saturday (December 30).

An avid cricket lover, I just love this game more than anything. Writing about cricket keeps me closer to the game.
