It was a tough day for the Indian National Cricket Team on the other day at Bengaluru. They were thrashed convincingly by the South African team that was led by Quinton de Kock. In between, Virat Kohli was involved in a clash with South Africa’s fast bowler Beuran Hendricks.

Hendricks, who played this match in place of Andrich Nortje, dismissed India vice-captain Rohit Sharma (9) in his first over itself. With Kohli coming in to bat at No. 3, the duo continued with their own thing despite colliding with each other.

Getting into the details of the match, the Indian National Cricket Team has won the toss and elected to bat first in a ground, which is very helpful for the chasing teams as per the record books.

The move didn’t work for India, as they lost Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for cheap scores on the board. Though Rishabh Pant and Shikhar Dhawan tried to hang in the middle, South Africa was smart in maintaining their consistency. During the course, Rishabh Pant once again failed to convert his start into a big knock, which triggered the collapse of India.

In reply to the chase, South Africa never felt pressure, as Quinton de Kock alongside Reeza Hendricks and Temba Bavuma finished the task for South Africa. Quinton de Kock scored his second fifty in the series to collect man of the series award in his debut series as a captain.
