Watch - Virat Kohli Distributes Autographs and Selfies In Jamaica

The first day of the second Test between India and West Indies at the Sabina Park in Jamaica ended on level terms with the visitors finishing at 264 for five. India skipper Virat Kohli once stole the heart of the fans at the end of the days’ play.

West Indies skipper Jason Holder opted to bowl first to use the moisture on the morning session. The host handed two debut caps to Rahkeem Cornwall and Jahmar Hamilton while India went with the same combinations.

The Caribbeans made a strong start with early wickets of KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara. The giant-looking Cornwall was a party to in both of the wickets. He grabbed one at slip and then got the better of Pujara with some extra bounce he attracted off the pitch.

Since then, Mayank  Agarwal and Virat Kohli consolidated with a solid partnership, the former getting to his third fifty. But the Karnataka cricketer will curse himself for not converting it to a big score. Ajinkya Rahane then joined Kohli before Kemar Roach found the former’s edge.

Kohli looked in line towards yet another hundred before he was squared up by a Jason Holder’s away-swinger. Hauma Vihari and Rishabh Pant then played some fluent strokes to take the Indians through to stumps. Holder was easily the pick of the bowlers, scalping three Indians, featuring Cornwall and Roach picking up a wicket each.

Soon after the end of the day’s play, Virat Kohli obliged to the fans request as he clicked selfies and distributed autographs. The gesture of the India captain once again stole hearts of one and all and proved why is so different from the rest.
