Former Indian combative batsman Virender Sehwag continued his penchant of hitting the ground running as he scored a second ball six while playing in a friendly match. The Nawab of Najafgarh is playing for Kidamba Lions in the Karnataka Chalana Chitra Cup (KCC). The match was held at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. Sehwag took to his Twitter account to post the video of the six over the long-on delivery.

Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag always followed a strategy of, “Watch the ball and hit the ball”. In fact, Sehwag was one of the most successful batsmen in the world despite adopting an audacious approach.

Sehwag always believed in catapulting his attack if the ball is in his arch. Thus, it didn’t matter for Sehwag whether it was the first ball of the match or the last ball of the session. He never contemplated failure and went for his shots from the get-go.
