The Men in Blues will have their task cut out with a relatively young bowling unit. They have handed debut call-up to Navdeep Saini and Rahul Chahar who are likely to make their debut in the first T20I at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground. Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan will return from injury to slot at the top alongside Rohit Sharma while skipper Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will come next. Rishabh Pant will have to shoulder the middle-order responsibility along with his wicket-keeping duties in the absence of MS Dhoni. India, who have a poor record in this ground will be keen to make a winning start to their campaign.

West Indies, on the other hand, are one of the strongest sides when it comes to the T20I format. They have included senior cricketer Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine which will strengthen their team in the series against India. Young wicket-keeper batsman Anthony Bramble has earned a maiden call-up to the side that also includes KharyPierre and John Campbell. This team has a good mixture of youth and experience, which will be crucial for the team from the Caribbean Islands.

Match Prediction

West Indies are a tough nut t crack in the shortest format of the game. They have two World Cup titles to their name the most by any team. India will have a tough time with a relatively young side and dismal record in Florida. Besides, the Men in Blues and the team from the Caribbean Islands have so far played 11 T20Is between each other with both sides winning five each with one ending a draw.
