The fans can take a sigh of relief, as Gautam Gambhir quoted he would like to continue as long as possible until the passion in him gets over. Further, he added there is still the room for improvement in his game.
Gambhir also spoke about the satisfaction he gets when he scores runs for the team to snatch a victory. He wants to keep on scoring them and stay in the winning environment.
“No, till the time I keep scoring runs, that makes me happy. You keep doing it. I think scoring runs, winning, coming back to the dressing room happy, being in the winning environment makes me happy,” Gautam Gambhir said to Outlook over the phone from Mumbai.
“Till the time I have that passion in me, where I want to come back to a happy dressing room, I want to be a part of that happy environment — I am going to keep going, and the day I feel that there are no emotions involved in it then I would think it’s time to go,” he added to his lines.
However, it has been great news for his fans that Gambhir wants to continue his cricketing career. Meanwhile, he is in glorious touch with his willow for Delhi team in the domestic circuit as well.
