Windies have injury woes.

Subsequently, chairman of selectors Courtney Browne believes the injury woes to regular players have opened the gates for other players to seal their World Cup spots.

“With our squad suffering from a few players with injuries even before a ball is bowled, an opportunity presents itself for other players to make a claim for ICC Cricket World Cup spots,” said the chairman of selectors Courtney Browne.

Meanwhile, the Windies had stunned England in the Test series as they had won by 2-1. Thus, the hosts will like to continue their domination over the visitors despite losing the final Test match. The Windies had won the first Test match by a gargantuan margin of 381 runs. The hosts had won the second Test match by 10 wickets.
