Despite receiving a whitewash in Tests, Bangladesh remembered Windies their One-day International struggle on last Sunday (July 22nd). The stupendous knocks from Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan have been the highlights of the first One-day International between hosts Windies vs visitors Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, it is the time for both the teams to lock horns in the second ODI of the three-match series. The win for Bangladesh will draw curtains on Windies’ hope to win the series in their backyard.

Bangladesh has got all the things fallen in place for the first ODI and they would hope to repeat the same. Meanwhile, Windies has got few issues to resolves especially, in their bowling department.

The Windies’ bowlers looked club cricketers when Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan went with their blazing blades. The return of Andre Russell hasn’t gone well who failed to show his mojo neither with the bat or ball.

Devendra Bishoo has been the only positive for the hosts in bowling department alongside their ever consistent Jason Holder. Ashley Nurse is the other who was very economical with his 10-over spell.

The big hitter, Chris Gayle has done decent enough by knocking a 40 but was unfortunate to be dismissed in a run out fashion. Shai Hope is the other cricketer who needs to find his form as quickly as possible.

Evin Lewis looked awful in first ODI against spinners while the Shimron Hetmyer is the only batsman to cross 50-run landmark. However, its time for Windies to pull their socks up before losing the series.

On the other side, Bangladesh are pretty happy in their shoes with all the players contributing exceptionally well. The skipper, Mortaza has been terrific for his side who registered a super four-for to his name. All in all, yet another exciting stuff is set to make its way tonight.
