Star leg-spinner from Pakistan, Yasir Shah is looking forward to having a good season in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Meanwhile, Shah will represent the PSL franchise Lahore Qalandars in the third edition of the PSL.

The lucrative Twenty20 league will kick start from February 22 at Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Further, Shah believes a good season in PSL will help him to get back a spot in Pakistan’s T20 squad.

Meanwhile, Yasir did not feature in Pakistan’s limited-overs squad in recent times. However, the 30-year-old is a regular feature in the longest format of the game.

While young leg-spinner Shadab Khan has done pretty well in recent times in the white ball game. Also, Imad Wasim has come in handy, of late. With younger bowlers tasting success, it is unlikely that Yasir will come back soon.

Yasir now has set his eyes on this edition of PSL – to make a grand comeback in the limited overs side.

McCullum providing the boost:

Lahore Qalanders are currently grooming themselves for the upcoming PSL. Shah lauded his captain Brendon McCullum for motivating the unit. Further, he added that he shows great faith in his players.

“Yes the captain is such a motivational factor in our team,” Yasir Shah told Geo.tv.

He always motivates players and sometimes gives him an over to open the bowling,” he added.

Meanwhile, Qalanders are confident to put in a good show in this season. Yasir feels the cricketers are training hard and it will reflect on the ground.
