Soon after announcing retirement from international cricket, all-rounder Yuvraj Singh decided to ply his trade in franchise leagues around the world, with the Global T20 Canada league being his first assignment. Yuvraj Singh had joined the Toronto Nationals in the league and also captained the side.

Incidentally, Yuvraj Singh was also involved in a bizarre dismissal during the season and notched up some important match-winning knocks. Subsequently, he also featured in the Abu Dhabi T10 league and played for the Indian legends in the Road Safety World Series held earlier this year.

“I want to play in the international leagues; however, I don’t know when these leagues will resume, considering the pandemic,” Yuvraj Singh told Hindustan Times.
