Yuvraj Singh went down the memory lane to celebrate the anniversary of his six sixes in an over bowled by Stuart Broad during the inaugural edition of T20 World Cup in 2017. It was on this day, in 2007, that Yuvraj Singh tormented Stuart Broad and shocked England by hitting them all over the park.

However, both Yuvraj and Broad have come along way from their and taken the event sportingly. The former India all-rounder, took to Instagram, to share a picture from the moment and wrote “13 years! How time flies!! #memories”. To this, Broad responded by saying,  Time flies less than the cricket ball that night,” followed by a rocket emoji.

Yuvraj Singh will be remembered for his contribution in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup. It was his six sixes in an over that will be etched in the mind of cricket fanatics for generations to come and former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff will regret the verbal exchange which eventually led to onslaught from Yuvraj Singh.

The former India all-rounder disposed everything that a young Stuart Broad had to offer. He hit him for six sixes in an over and stormed to a 12-ball half-century, which remains the fastest in the shortest format of the game.

It was midnight in India, when Yuvraj Singh made a mockery of Stuart Broad, at the Kingsmead in Durban during a group stage match. He was dismissed for 58 runs off 16 balls, with an imposing strike rate of 362.50 and will go down as one of the most iconic knocks in international cricket.

Yuvraj Singh brought down the curtains on his career after playing 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is. He contributed to the fore in ICC tournaments for the national team and will always be knows as one of the finest all-rounders to have donned the Indian jersey.
