It has been a sensational One-day International series for the Men in Blue in the Rainbow nation and they have already won their maiden series in South Africa across formats with a match still in progress. They have been sensational all through the series and Yuzvendra Chahal has been one of the success stories.

Barring a hiccup in the fourth ODI they have been phenomenal in all departments of the game. They have thoroughly outplayed the Proteas to take an unassailable 4-1 lead in the 6 match series.

Despite pocketing the series, India didn’t employ wholesome changes and made a tactical move in resting Bhuvneshwar Kumar and giving an opportunity to Shardul Thakur who has already impressed in the ongoing encounter bagging a couple of wickets.

However, he has gone for some runs but the wickets will definitely give him confidence in coming back strongly in the death overs.

With the score at 43 for 2, South Africa was again looking down the barrel especially with an inexperienced middle order.

Barring de Villiers, the batting line-up looked fragile and especially after the fall of Amla and Markram’s wicket it was expected to be a slide which has continued to be the case for the hosts in the series so far.

The wicket of de Villiers which might prove to be crucial in the outcome of the match.

De Villiers played some terrific shots. On the other hand, youngster Khaya Zondo got inspiration and himself got into the act. He played some wonderful shots and smacked two sixes of Chahal.

However, just when the duo of Zondo and DE Villiers was looking to take the game away from the visitors, it was Yuzvendra Chahal who struck with the flipper.

It was faster delivery which skidded on and disturbed his timbers.

De Villiers gave himself ample room and wanted to smack it through the cover region. But it skidded through and AB missed it altogether.
