Micheal Clarke led the Australia team to a famous victory in the 2015 World Cup and he announced his retirement after that. The right-hander has been part of three world cups for his nation and he won his first WorldCup in 2007 too as a youngster. Clarke holds the fourth position in the list of batsmen with the highest average in World cups.
Clarke has played 25 matches in World cups scoring 888 runs at an average of 63.42. He hasn’t scored a century but has scored eight fifties in the tournament with the highest score of 93 not out. He enjoyed a lot of success in Test and ODI cricket in the last decade.
