The hosts Sussex Sharks will face Hampshire on Sunday (30th August) afternoon at County Ground (Hove) in the T20 Blast 2020 (South Group).
Both teams have played one match each in this new season and both their respective matches had no results due to the rain interruption in the middle of the game.
The T20 Blast 2020 South Group match between Sussex Sharks vs Hampshire will be played at County Ground (Hove) on Sunday (30th August) afternoon. This match has been scheduled to begin at 14:00 local time (18:30 IST).
County Ground (Hove) will host this match. In the T20 format, the chasing is generally easier at this venue. While this season’s first T20 match at this venue failed to produce a result due to rain, the first batting side Sharks struggled as they scored 116/5 in 15.2 overs before the rain interruption.

In their first game of this tournament, openers Phil Salt and captain Luke Wright, the two most run-scorers for this team in the previous T20 Blast season, provided the solid start. While the skipper Wright scored 31 runs off 25 balls (6 fours), Salt scored 40 runs off 22 balls (4 fours and 2 sixes). They have also the experienced all-rounder Ravi Bopara, who scored one run in their rain-interrupted incomplete opening match in this new T20 season.
Right-arm pacer Ollie Robinson and T20 specialist left-arm fast bowler Tymal Mills are their main bowlers in the present bowling line-up.
While Hampshire luckily escaped from a defeat in their season-opening match (against Kent) due to the rain, the middle-order batsman Joe Weatherly was the only positive name as he scored the crucial 68 runs off 49 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes) when his team was struggling. Wicket-keeper batsman Lewis McManus also played an important knock of 26 runs in that game but lost his wicket at the crucial moment.
Captain Sam Northeast and Scottish opener Goerge Munsey are the other important names in the batting line-up.
