Gujarat Titans Post Cryptic Tweet Wishing Shubman Gill "All The Best For Next Endeavour"; Star Batter Responds

Gujarat Titans (GT) have made a mysterious tweet that apparently states that they are parting ways with Shubman Gill. The right-handed batter was one of the architects of the triumph in the 2022 IPL. Shubman Gill scored 483 runs in 16 matches at an average of 34.50 and a strike rate of 132.33.  He played a crucial role in the final of IPL 2022; at the same time, many experts were questioning his strike rate which was not up to the standards of T20 Cricket.

It was Gujarat Titans’ maiden season and they astonished everyone by winning the trophy. The team performed exceptionally well under Hardik Pandya.

For Hardik Pandya, Gujarat Titans changed his career and now he is a permanent member of the Indian Cricket Team. The peculiarity of the GT franchise was that they never look afraid against champion teams like MI & CSK which made them a dangerous unit.

Shubman Gill set for a new franchise

If these tweets are to be believed then Shubman Gill could be in line for another new franchise. Shubman was a part of the KKR franchise and it was quite surprising to see that KKR management refused to retain him. The 23-year-old batter’s game may be a bit unorthodox but he has the knack of playing long & effective innings which is priceless in this T20 Cricket.

At the same time, this could be a stunt by the GT franchise because there is hardly any time for the next mini Auction IPL 2023. The trading windows are not yet opened. It would be interesting to see whether GT leave a consistent batter or not.

The right-handed batter has started making huge strides into National Team and with age on his side, he can be a force to reckon with.
