Despite missing the services of Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, England are leading the points table in Group 1. They have managed to win all four games played in the tournament thus far and have already qualified for the semi-finals. Eoin Morgan and Co. are slated to play their final match of the Super 12 against South Africa on Saturday. They would be keen to continue the winning momentum and go into the semis unbeaten.

On the other hand, South Africa will be playing a must-win game on Saturday. The Proteas are unbeaten since losing their first game of the tournament against Australia. South Africa are coming into the game on the back of three consecutive wins.

For them to reach the semi-finals, they have to win the game against England on Friday with a significant margin. Having said that, a lot depends on the result of Australia’s last game against the West Indies.

South Africa bundled out Bangladesh for just 84 runs in their last game, thanks to outstanding spells from Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, and Tabraiz Shamsi. South Africa too lost four wickets in pursuit of the total but eventually chased down the target in 13.3 overs.

Temba Bavuma stayed unbeaten on 31 off 28 deliveries, while Rassie van der Dussen contributed 22 off 27. For South Africa to win against England, they need to perform exceedingly well with the bat. It will be interesting to see how they approach their innings against the table toppers.

Sharjah Cricket Stadium will play host to the 39th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 on Saturday. The pitch is expected to be on the slower side, making it difficult for the batsmen to play their shots.

The pacers need to bowl more cutters and hit the hard lengths to fetch wickets on this surface. Besides, there will be some help for the spinners as well. Both teams should look to bowl first upon winning the toss. Anything between 140 and 150 is a par score here.
